|I have my hidden files showing because of things like .htaccess files, and when I upload a whole directory, it uploads any .DS_Store files as well. It would be cool if you could have an ignore list where you put in either an extension, or a the whole filename, and captain ftp won't upload those files. This could be good in situations where you're uploading from a shared folder which a PC has put files like Thumbs.db into it.|
If this feature already exists, please accept my apologies and kindly show me where to find it.
Love CaptainFTP!!!! It's the best FTP client on Mac OS that I've seen.

|I have to deal with a UNIX server with extremely limited disk space, which forces me to continually check the output directory for my data analysis program, download the files to my Mac, then erase the files downloaded to make room for more. It would be nice to be able to automate this, like Crows Nest will do for uploads. Why not have this feature for downloads as well? Otherwise, Captain FTP is still the best FTP program I've ever used. |
