ascii and .ext
.ext to force binary

I use cftp for website (2.6 is good, thx) and have a "shitload" of different php/perl-script file extensions that need ascii to work but only a few that really needs binary mode (.jpg.gif.png). For me it would be much easier and safer to have ascii-mode as default and specify the few binary .ext than the opposit aproach I have to use today (binary default & 20+ ascii .ext). Possible in future?
